Book Design

It’s a fact that a physical book still holds some sort of magic a screen can’t deliver. A book has a weight, touch and even smell, all of which help add to whatever story the book wants to tell. In our modern world, it’s time refreshingly focussed on one thing – an easy route to pure escapism.

Midlothian Station Walks and Border Stations Walks are two pocket-sized volumes of walks centred on each station outwith Edinburgh, on the Tweedbank railway line. Our strapline for the entire project for the Galasheils-based publishers is ‘a new platform for your adventures’.

Each section then provides details on each walk, everything from a gentle stroll, to full-day hikes, are covered. A simple route map, distance covered, grading, elevation gained, type of terrain, as well as points of interest and things to look out for are all included.
