Music Sleeves

The owner of a record label told me recently that a record sleeve only works when it makes you want to hear the music within. The artwork has to give the audience a sense of what music sounds like. When designing artwork for music, that’s always how we approach the project.

Whilst we also run the music site OBLADADA in our spare time, visualising music is very similar to writing about music. The forms, texture, overall atmosphere of the music is always what we try to convey visually.

If you’re a band, musician or label looking for artwork for your next release, please get in touch.
